EMBEDDED HARDWARE ENGINEER

We are looking for an Embedded HW Engineer to join us in the exciting Motorsport Industry.

Overview

My client is a leading distributor and manufacturer of high performance electronic components for motorsports, UAV and high-end applications. This group provides solutions in Europe, America, Asia and Oceania, supported by extremely professional distributors.

We are looking for junior hardware engineer to join their technical office.

The position will provide you an opportunity to work with a collaborative team on interesting and technically challenging motorsport products and highly custom projects.

Role Responsibilities

• Embedded hardware development using Altium Designer software (schematic and PCB layout)
• Managing electronics BOMs and component sourcing
• Firmware development on STM32 or ARM platform (it’s a plus)
• Make tests on embedded systems to validate the development and design phases
• Possible race-track session to support end customer on field

Role Skills Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of hardware architectures such as ARM microcontroller
• Knowledge about most used hardware protocols: UART, I2C, SPI, LIN, CAN, USB, ETH
• Knowledge about development environments (STM32Cube IDE / TouchGFX)
• Knowledge about microcontrollers architecture (STM32), digital and analog circuits, communication interfaces, low voltage power supplies
• Knowledge of common hardware design tools (Altium Designer is an advantage)
• Knowledge of basic function on mechanical CAD ( Fusion 360, Solidworks )
• Effective use of common tools like multimeter, oscilloscope, frequency generator
• Embedded & Realtime (FREERTOS) Software Development – C/C++
• Basic knowledge of Matlab & Simulink environment

Soft Skills Requirements

• Usage of Office software
• English is mandatory (both written and spoken, minimum B1 level)
• Working on a constant changing and pressure environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
